Ratings and any rating actions will be disseminated by IIRA through its website and news agencies, within a reasonable time frame following the convening of the rating committee. The initial rating may not be publicly announced, if the rated entity expresses its intention to hold the ratings privately. However, once in the public domain, any rating revision would be effected via public disclosure. IIRA shall advise the client in advance of any proposed change or withdrawal of the ratings and shall provide the applicant with reasonable notice to present responses to any concerns or reservations of IIRA. However, it reserves the right to intimate investors of a change in ratings, without notice to the rated entity.
The rated entity while publicizing or communicating the ratings to investors shall clearly stipulate that any party desirous of placing reliance on such ratings shall be entitled to reconfirm the status of the ratings directly from IIRA.
